The One Ring Playtesting

#TORsday

We have been busy play-testing the upcoming The One Ring – The Lord of the Rings™ Roleplaying Game 2nd Ed here in the C7 office.

The One Ring Producer Emmet Byrne, artist JG O' Donoghue (who's work you may recognise from The Shire and Minas Tirith pieces), Wrath & Glory Producer Zak Dale-Clutterbuck and CEO Dom McDowall had a fun and eventful run-through of our Starter Set adventure after work last week. The adventure, written by Jacob Rodgers, is set in The Misty Mountains and sees the heroes tasked by Gandalf with retrieving and ancient relic that has the ability to rouse Giants from their slumber. The Company must find the artefact before it falls into the hands of The Enemy, and then travel down the Anduin to meet Gandalf in Minas Tirith. The adventure does a fantastic job of teaching new players how to play The One Ring and is also a great introduction to veterans, who can get up to speed on many of the changes with second edition.

We are delighted with how The One Ring is developing and look forward to sharing more news with you very soon!

Did you catch last weeks update on combat from Jacob Rodgers? And we recently shared an excellent post on Character Customisation here.
