Sunday Summary

We had some important announcements last week, from new releases for WFRP to a new pre-order for Adventures in Middle-earth™ and an excellent #TORsday post, catch up on all the highlights below! And make sure you check back next week for lots more news.

#AMEday

We were excited to announce the pre-order for Adventures in Middle-earth™ Rohan Region Guide last Tuesday, you can read the full announcement here and find the pre-order page here. Once ordered a PDF will follow soon after. Physical copies expected first quarter 2020.

South along the Great River Anduin, beyond the southernmost peaks of the Misty Mountains, lies the land of Rohan. Here dwell the Rohirrim, the swift sons of Eorl who descended from the North centuries ago to settle in the land of Calenardhon.

Rohan Region Guide contains material previously released as Horse-lords of Rohan for The One Ring Roleplaying Game, fully converted to be compatible with Adventures in Middle-earth and the OGL rules.

#WarhammerWednesday

A few weeks ago, we announced the release of the third installment of Ubersreik Adventures on Drive Thru RPG. Incase you missed that one, you can buy WFRP Ubersreik Adventures – Bait and Witch here. This adventure can be used as short standalone adventure, or easily slotted into any ongoing WFRP campaign!

Last Wednesday we announced another new PDF – Ubersreik Adventures – Heart of Glass!  You can it buy here on DrivethruRPG.

Heart of Glass takes a closer look at the insidious nature of Chaos — how good people can be corrupted by otherwise noble goals and intentions. It takes place in the duchy of Ubersreik in 2512 IC, but could be moved to any suitably large town throughout the Empire with minimal reworking. This adventure is suitable for parties who have a little experience under their belts.

Heart of Glass is the forth in the Ubersreik Adventureseries, the primary setting of the WFRP Starter Set . Along with If Looks Could KillMad Men of Gotheim, and Bait and Witch, these adventures can be used as short standalone adventures, or easily slotted into any ongoing WFRPcampaign.

#TORsday

On #TORsday we shared another post - this time it was all about Councils in The One Ring The Lord of the Rings Roleplaying Game!

In second edition, Councils replace Encounters as the most socially focused of the three primary adventuring activities (the other two being Combat and Journeys). Not every meeting is worthy of a Council — you can meet friendly folk at The Prancing Pony, negotiate with a wily trader, or question a suspicious stranger just by using the core skills and good roleplaying. But when the Company meets with the Great and the Good, their behaviour can influence those lords and ladies, causing them to render greater assistance or shoo away rude troublemakers. Read the full post here.

Humble Bundle

We also wanted to thank everyone who purchased the recent Warhammer 40,000 Dark Heresy Humble Bundle and in doing so donated to an amazingly worthy charity – Doctors without Borders. We are delighted and proud to announce that the Humble Bundle raised over:

  $80,000 FOR DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS!

What an amazing result!
