2021 has seen new restrictions in shipping to the UK. What does that mean for you if you're living in the UK? If you're ordering more than £135 pound (in one delivery) you could be liable to pay customs charges on your delivery when it arrives. Although books are zero vat in Ireland and the UK, there may still be a customs charge because the items are over the £135 threshold. Please follow any UK goverment guidelines in relation to purchasing products from the EU.
Aside from that - you can expect a slightly longer delay in getting your delivery. This could just be an initial issue while delivery companies get used to the new restrictions. We've had to temporarily disable DPD as a shipping option for just this reason.
COVID 19 UPDATE
Since September 29th Australia, New Zealand & Singapore have reopened for Standard Shipping deliveries from our warehouse in Ireland. We're aware that there are still some delivery delays in Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, and Switzerland. Please be sure to check with your own local postal service before ordering to make sure there are no additional delays.
We are taking precautionary measures when handling goods, wearing disposable gloves, wiping surfaces and washing hands regularly. Our delivery partners also have strong COVID-19 measures in place, for example DPD have changed to contactless deliveries - see here for more.
We have recently integrated UPS Express Saver and UPS Standard Shipping on our website to facilitate an alternative courier option with fast turnaround.
For a list of shipping times and expectations (especially for the courier DPD and UPS options) please check out our Shipping Info page
As always, if you have a query on an order please contact firstname.lastname@example.org directly.
This is a challenging time for us all, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank you, our loyal customers for your continued support over the years and to say hello to new customers. We will regularly post updates and new content as we continue working on the exciting lines and releases we have planned for the months ahead.
